What is Paxo?
Paxo is a popular British brand known for its sage and onion stuffing – a staple in our house for holidays growing up! Made with breadcrumbs, sage, and onion, it is beloved for its convenience and classic, comforting flavours, adding an aromatic, savoury touch to various dishes beyond its traditional use.
Ingredients
- Paxo
- Parsley
- Parmesan cheese
- Garlic cloves
- Black pepper
- Egg
- Ground turkey
- Milk
- Olive oil
For the Topping
- Mozzarella cheese
- Fried sage leaves
- Parsley
Instruction
Preheat the oven to 400°F (190°C).
Prepare the Meatloaves
In a large bowl, mix the Paxo, parsley, Parmesan, garlic, black pepper together. Wisk in an egg and combine. Add in ground turkey and gently combine.
Add milk and combine thoroughly until the mixture is well-blended.
Shape the mixture into four individual meatloaves.
Drizzle then brush olive oil over the loaves and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake
Bake for 40-45 minutes, turning occasionally to brown all sides. Add the mozzarella cheese on top for the last 10 minutes to melt.
Serve and Enjoy!
Serve each meatloaf over a bed of mashed potatoes and pour warmed gravy overtop. Top each meatloaf with a fried sage leaf and a sprinkle of chopped parsley. Enjoy alongside steamed vegetables and a spoonful of cranberry sauce.
